Manual driving lessons

Starting from the beginning

For beginners, lessons are given using a structured sequence of topics to develop knowledge and skills in a safe and controlled learning environment.

If you are extremely nervous you are welcome to try a lesson to see how you feel (you will never be under any obligation to continue if you don't feel its right for you), however our nervous students usually enjoy their lesson and cannot wait until their next one.

Learning to drive is a very important part of your overall education and a life skill which can be used for pleasure, convenience or help towards gaining employment.

Once you have learned the skills required and passed you theory and practical driving test you will have your driving license for life.

We offer training for absolute beginners right up to experienced drivers wishing to improve their road skills.

Lessons can be taken in hourly blocks, or hour and a half or two hours. Two hour lessons are preferable as in our experience we find pupils tend to benefit more, but the duration of the lesson is up to you. Click here for our current price list.

If you have a practical driving test already booked then give us a call.We would prefer to see you for an assessment lesson at least 5 weeks before your test in order to ensure you are at the required level and to give time to book more lessons if improvements are needed. Experienced drivers, don't be embarrassed to take further driver training.

Experienced drivers i.e. those that have passed their practical test, or even those of you that have been driving for many years driving could benefit from driver improvement lessons. We can provide Pass Plus, refresher lessons, motorway lessons and more. see our other training available page
